Who needs Farmers anyways? Bush threatens to veto aid to Farmers

Hey, Farmers just get in the way of Strip Malls and Oil fields anyways don't they? Besides, malls create more spending (good for the economy) and Oil wells generate fuel (GREAT for the war).

Ah, Once again... The King believes that if someone is trying to help a segment of American society, they are actually doing a bad thing, and the end result will be to costly in terms of dollars. As we all know... our President knows best and is only looking out for his own wallet/war. Oops ! scratch that, we meant "looking out for the people's own good".

Apparently, a bill passed in the senate allows for monies to be provided to farmers that grow various grain crops as well as money to fruit and vegatable growers. It also allows funds to energy and conservation prorgams that will protect certian farmland areas.

The President believes that subsidies should instead be CUT because crop prices have been at record high prices. Ok, so the President is saying that Farmers made a killing since prices are so high and they don't deserve any money because of that. Now that idea might wash if you had somewhere between 2 and 6 brain cells that were subjected to heat to get them stirring. But we are assuming that all but one American has a brain full of working cells.

Does George not recall the record drought this past year and the record high temperatures that killed off most of the crops? (and that Global warming crap is just more scientific BS from a bunch of Godless Liberals)

Does he not remember certian States comming to the Government and asking to have their farm lands declared "a disaster" ? Of course He doesn't...you have to have somewhere between 7 and 10 brain cells to do that.

Does he not understand that when most of this nation's food supplies are killed in the field that prices most certianly will go up? Bet if that was some of his family owned oil wells George could figure out the math.

The question was also naturally asked how to come up with the money for this program. Democrats suggested increasing taxes on certian multinational companies. The Republicans apparently nixed that idea as a tax hike. Now why would the Republicans be against increasing taxes on hugely wealthy companies?

The Cutting Point: We have to eat to live. Farmers grow food. We need farmland and Farmers.

Budget deal would probably give Bush victory on war funding

Well now, who would ever had guessed that King George would want to continue the war until all of our children between 18 and 65 were dead in the desert and have the nerve to ask for more money to do so?...

Apparently, it seems that the Democrats are being forced into concessions by the Republicans as far as the funding of the King's war is concerned. From reading the CNN report, the American public will have to cough up 70 billion dollars by the end of this year (70 billion in 3 weeks, that's pretty good money for someone).

Sadly enough, the Presidents men are just that. To make matters worse; the report says that King George most likely will get close to the rest of the 200 billion dollars he is asking for by sometime next year.

Our question is; how many soldiers have to die because the President feels it is necessary. His reasoning is that there is an escalation in violence. Not two weeks ago he said that because violence was down... it showed that we were making progress and because of that, we needed to stay in the desert. I ask you... how many times have we heard the same?

Please don't misunderstand, the author has spent many years in the United States military and has recieved many honors and awards to attest to his undying patriotism. But we can not help think that Vietnam Version 2.0 is what we are dealing with here.

The Cutting Point: This war is expensive. Public funds have been cut for schools as well as medicine for the elderly and sick children in this country in order to fund this war. Saddam is dead and the 6 foot 6 inch "terrorist to the world" still has not been found. Our dead are buried and yet our young men and women still die and become maimed (I know of one personally that has lost one leg and one arm).

Come to think of it, schools have not been on The Presidents list of priorities from the start. But hey... who needs skools? after all; anyone can be Presdent.

Back to the point:
The desert people have hated and killed for centuries and still do. Now they are killing our children and the national deficit escalates as Americans are killed. Death and violence in the Mideast has only risen since the start of the war and now the death includes Americans.

Feeding our children into the war machine will not bring back our dead or give this country credence. As a matter of fact... most civilized nations really don't want much to do with us as far as the war is concerned these days.

Well, King George is up to the same...
Who me?, I had no idea... quick, find the bastards that told me wrong. I DEMAND to know know who's responsible! I couldn't be that atupid all on my own!. Come on now George... sure you could.

Let's go back in time... remember when George said that Iran's president was a madman and a liar? (hey, I know where to find another one of those; 2700 Pennsylvania avenue) and that Iran was developing the skills to build nukes. Remember all of those rumors that we might even strike Iran? Then our government stated that it was actually plausible that we attack Iran.

Now a report states that it is not so. No nukes baby. Just like the weapons of mass destruction that never existed. This time the report comes to the public in a somewhat timely manner and our leader stands once again pointing a finger and spinning round and round saying it was them. OK George, just who is "them" and why does everybody always give you false information?

Remember Teddy Roosevelt from history class? On his desk was a sign that said "The buck stops Here". To bad old George W doesn't subscribe to the same code of honor.

The Cutting Point: No matter if wrong information was spoon fed to our President or not, he still willfully tried to make a case for potential war on Iran and did sanction Iran. He has only recently tried to back up his (misinformed) statements, actions and views only AFTER the public recently becoming aware of the report that was made available to him months ago.
